Ambition

 

Ambition is the Man of the Year. Combining raw rhymes and live beat production on the MPC, he has a sound reminiscent of the Golden Era of Hip Hop.  His subject matter is versatile, weaving in and out of rhyme schemes that cover everything from 90’s sneaker culture to  taking on the ‘villains’ of the rap game as a hip hop superhero.

After being named Halifax’s Best MC in 2013 by The Coast, Ambition has gone on to release two projects including 2013’s Man of the Year EP (Droppin’ Science Productions) and the Record Store Day-exclusive  Yo! Snares & Claps beat tape on limited edition cassettes.
